This is a farewell to the blogging world for one month. In this month, I hope I’ll have written my very first novel. For those of you unfamiliar with National Novel Writing Month, head here and see if there’s interest. Writers across the world will collectively pen novels in the span of one month. 50,000 words or about 1,600 to 2,000 words a day. A DAY.
I’m prone to laugh at myself for the many things I’ve attempted and then dropped like a flaming coal. Yet there’s a deep call to continue, to keep moving in the direction of creative output. The mountain is high but the view at the top is incredible. And this story about Christmas Eve and life-changing circumstances needs to be told. It’s “The Holiest Night.” Look for it on Amazon this year or next year.
With this lofty charge ahead, I will miss my blogging. December speaks of change in the categories of this site, to hone in on what makes the most sense. Visuals will probably change, and the writing will continue to mature.
The Purple Box is an adventure, and every good adventure needs a rest stop. Happy Halloween-Saints-Reformation-Novel Day!
